Delivery Information
Active Office Furniture deliver using a combination of our own delivery fleet and also outsource deliveries to a third-party when required to ensure it provides a consistently fast and efficient service.
Standard UK Delivery is free on all orders over £30+vat. Where
available we offer delivery and installation upgrades per product.
What to expect
As standard we offer a delivery service to your business or residence which does not include removal of packaging, removal of pallets, assembly or setup- unless you have specifically added a delivery upgrade on the product when ordering.
Unless otherwise stated, our furniture will require assembly. Installation is available on most products. For seating this is replaced with pre-assembly with the built chair delivered bagged for easy opening. Installation needed may be minimal such as installation of handles, fitting of wheels. Our customer services team are available to assist with any problems you may experience when opting to self-assemble. If you are unsure how much assembly any given product will require on receipt, our team can also provide this information on request.
How long will my order take?
At Active Office Furniture we endeavour to get goods delivered to you as
quickly as possible subject to availability.
Standard delivery is normally within 5-7 business days. Deliveries are made by a dedicated 2 person furniture delivery team and all deliveries are booked in advance. Furniture taken to room of choice. We will always try our best to keep you informed and in most of these case will contact you to arrange delivery so please ensure we have the best contact telephone number for you.
Express delivery items and are normally delivered the next business day. Premium installation is normally carried out within 3 business days. Our cut-off for order processing is normally around 4.30pm on any business day. Premium or Express optins have an eariuer cut-off 2pm. Orders placed after our cut-off will be processed as soon as possible or the next
business day.
Times quoted are in good faith but shall be non-binding. We aim to deliver a high standard of service and will make every effort to deliver the goods as near to the specified date as possible, however delays are sometimes unavoidable due to unforeseen factors. Active Office Furniture will not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods.
Your delivery may arrive Monday to Friday anytime between 7.00AM
& 8.00PM, please ensure you are available to receive your delivery
as there will be a redelivery charge if delivery fails due to customer
not being available. At our drivers discretion, some products may be
left in a safe place.
Some Furniture items such as made to order products or very large items may take longer. We will always try our best to keep you
informed and in most of these case will contact you to arrange delivery
so please ensure we have the best contact telephone number for you.
Where in the UK do you deliver?
We deliver to areas A & B with no surcharges, where within the UK mainland. We can also deliver to area C which includes the Scottish Highlands and Islands,
however this location may incur a delivery excess. Please contact
customer services for an accurate delivery cost against your order where
the delivery location is within area C. If an order is placed
online for delivery to any region that incurs a surcharge, we will you
to advise the surcharge. Where a surcharge applies, you may cancel the
order for a full refund.
Our deliveries are outsourced to an expedited delivery service
providing a consistently fast and efficient service. All of our
consignments are traceable from source to destination and for security
purposes require a signature upon delivery - this guarantees the secure
delivery and safe passage of your items.
As standard we offer a kerbside delivery service of your products to
your business or residence which does not include removal of packaging,
assembly or setup - unless you added our installation with your order.
Installation upgrades, or pre-delivery assembly for chairs, is available
on each product.
Will you deliver during adverse weather conditions?
Our delivery drivers always work hard to get your order to you on time. If we’re unable to deliver your parcel we’ll call ahead to let you know and rearrange another collection or delivery time. If you haven’t received a call from us you can be sure that your order is on its way!

Damaged Goods
